Pia and I talked for a long time about many aspects of the inner workings of her thought processes, but what stuck with me the most is what she said about her creative process. When I asked how she thinks when creating a set, she said ~ I surrender to source and let the best manifest ~. That her best work comes directly from the source of creativity, unmuddled by thought itself. So while this project as a whole is about forms of thought, this one is to show that thought doesn’t have to take any form; sometimes it’s just a free flowing source of pure, impossible-to-describe inspiration.
