Janie

Janie is a writer and teacher, and the very first out of her mouth in her interview was that she’s a writer in everything that she does. Her thought processes consist of carefully choosing the right words, the right topic, the right moment. And indeed, many things she says sound like they were written first, full of metaphor and deliberate diction. Everything that she says/writes first tumbles through various filters in her mind until she is left with exactly what she intended to say (unlike me, who word vomits with abandon).
